SIZE DISTRIBUTION EQUATIONS CAN BE USED TO DESCRIBE THE DEGREE OF FRAGMENTATION PRODUCED BY EXPLOSIVE ROCK BREAKAGE. THIS PAPER DESCRIBES THE RESULTS OF SMALL SCALE BLASTING EXPERIMENTS AND THE DERIVATION OF EXUATIONS TO RELATE SIZE DISTRIBUTIONS TO BLASTING DESIGN PARAMENTERS.
