DRAINAGE AND FILTER PIPES IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION /IN GERMAN/

THE PROCESS OF SEEPAGE IN FROST BLANKETS IS CALCULATED. THE RESULTS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT ON FULL FILTER PIPES MADE OF CONCRETE AND PARTIAL FILTERS MADE OF CONCRETE AND PLASTIC BOTH WITH AND WITHOUT FILTERING MATERIALS (GRAVELLY SANDS, SANDY GRAVELS, FROST PROTECTION MATERIALS) ARE PRESENTED. A COMPARISON IS MADE OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE DIFFERENT PIPES WITH REGARD TO THE AMOUNT OF SEEPAGE WATER CONDUCTED AWAY, AND IT IS ESTABLISHED THAT THE CONCRETE FULL-FILTER PIPES ARE PREFERABLE TO THE PARTIAL FILTERS. /FG/RRL/
