TEST PROCEDURES ARE DEVISED FOR DETERMINING CEMENT QUANTITIES REQUIRED FOR SOIL-CEMENT BASE. THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH TEST IS USED FOR MATERIALS PASSING THE 2-INCH SIEVE AND THE PUNCHING SHEAR TEST FOR SOILS THAT PASS THE NO. 40 MESH SIEVE.
