SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION, B/O ROUTE- BORING AT UNION STATION
RESULTS OF ONE SUPPLEMENTARY TEST BORING PERFORMED NEAR THE NORTH END OF THE UNION STATION PLATFORM ON THE B AND O ROUTE ARE SUMMARIZED IN THE SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT. THE PURPOSE OF THE WORK WAS TO DETERMINE SUBSURFACE CONDITIONS AND SUBSOIL PROPERTIES AT THE LOCATION OF A PROPOSED POWER PLANT FOR THE WASHINGTON TERMINAL COMPANY. THE REPORT CONTAINS A GEOLOGICAL SECTION THROUGH THE BORING, A LOG OF THE BORING AND RESULTS OF LABORATORY TESTS PERFORMED ON UNDISTURBED SAMPLES OBTAINED. /AUTHOR/
