NEW TRAFFIC FLOW RECORDER IN USE ON CLEVELAND TRAFFIC SURVEY

A DEVICE IS DESCRIBED WHERE A CAR FLOATING WITH THE TRAFFIC CAN MEASURE AND RECORD THE SPEED AT ANY INSTANT DURING A TRIP AS WELL AS THE ELAPSED TIME AND DISTANCES SINCE THE START. IT CONSISTS, ESSENTIALLY, OF A CLOCK, SPEEDOMETER, AND ODOMETER, SO MOUNTED THAT THE THREE CAN BE PHOTOGRAPHED SIMULTANEOUSLY AT ANY INSTANT BY A MOTION PICTURE CAMERA.
