ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION CURE OF COATINGS
Basically, there are two main radiation curing systems now in operation, the electron curing system, and the ultraviolet curing system. Electron curing, which has its greatest potential in very large finishing shops with a great volume of coating operations involved, has been the subject of many publications. While different kinds of paint compositions have been tried for electron curing, practically the only coating system used for ultraviolet curing is based on polyesters.
