Slope stabilization using scrap tyres and geotextile reinforced soil

A rainfall-induced landslide is rectified using a cost effective and simple method. The method consists of a 2m high geotextile reinforced soil structure with scrap rubber tyres as wall elements. The geofabric layers are wrapped around in front of the wall. The tyres and geotextile layers are separated because the aggregate placed inside the rubber tyres provide sufficient stability to the wall.
