PROGRAM STOCK

"STOCK" IS A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR LOCALIZING PARKING DEMAND WITH RESPECT TO ITS SUPPLY. IT ALLOWS THE SIMULATION OF RUCH-HOUR PARKING PHENOMENA AND THE CALCULATION OF A GLOBAL INDEX OF THE DIFFICULTY OF PARKING (GENERALIZED COST). PLANS FOR A RATIONAL PARKING POLICY CAN THEN BE TESTED BY COMPARING GENERALIZED COST TO THAT OF THE PRESENT SITUATION CONSIDERING RECEIPTS FROM PARKING CHARGES TO USERS. /AUTHOR/
