THE AIM OF THIS ARTICLE IS TO PRESENT BASIC FACTS CONCERNING COLOR AND COLOR VISION IN RELATION TO EMERGENCY LIGHTS, TRAFFIC SIGNS, TRAFFIC SIGNALS, AND HEAD LAMPS. A STUDY IS MADE OF THE WAY COLOR IS PRODUCED IN NATURE, THE WAY MAN REACTS TO COLORS, THE INFLUENCE OF COLOR BLINDNESS AND ORDINARY CHANGES IN VISION DUE TO AGEING. /TRRL/
