International approaches to tackling transport congestion: paper 7 (final): public transport improvements
The focus of this paper is on reviewing the international evidence on the extent to which would be expected to improvements to the public transport system can attract car drivers to switch to using public transport, and hence reduce road traffic volumes and levels of congestion.
