Towards zero: getting there together: road safety strategy for Western Australia 2008-2020
At the Office of Road Safety we are working closely with other states, countries and members of the Road Safety Council to coordinate and develop WA's next road safety strategy. We want to develop a strategy that is robust, a strategy that saves lives, reduces serious injuries and helps take the pressure off our health system. The strategy will continue to focus on research but we also need understanding and support from the community. To achieve this we have the assistance of road safety experts from the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC), community engagement consultants Estill and Associates and social researchers Synovate. This discussion paper is not the strategy - it is a summary of the community input and MUARC's advice.
