Towards an integrated and sustainable transport future: a new legislative framework for transport in Victoria
The discussion paper seeks feedback from individuals and organisations on the objectives required for the transport legislation that will enable us to meet the challenges ahead. What objectives are relevant? How should they be described? Are there some objectives that are more important than others? The discussion paper: 1. explains the purpose and importance of objectives in legislation; 2. provides a framework for contributing to the process by including a series of questions and issues for the community to respond to; and 3. describes how to participate in the consultation process. Feedback is sought from a broad range of stakeholders - including transport providers and users, as well as industry and interest groups.
