This paper provides an overview of the latest Road Safety Monitor results on drinking and driving practices of Canadians in 2006. It concludes that while the majority of drink driving trips (92.4 per cent) are accounted for by only a small proportion of drivers (4.4 per cent), it is evident that Canada has a drinking and driving problem.
