Vehicle fuel efficiency: potential measures to encourage the uptake of more fuel efficient, low carbon emission vehicles

The aim of this discussion paper is to present for public comment a range of potential measures which are considered by the Australian Transport Council (ATC)/Environment Protection and Heritage Council (EPHC) Working Group to offer the capacity to improve the fuel efficiency of the road vehicle fleet. Following consideration of the public comment, the Working Group will prepare a final report for consideration by Ministers of the ATC and EPHC.
