Report on investigations into allegations of damage to the Captain Cook Bridge during the installation of the Energex gantry completed in February 2007

The purpose of this report is to provide advice to the Director-General of Queensland Department of Main Roads on the overall safety and structural integrity of the Captain Cook Bridge in Queensland following media claims in August 2007, that reinforcing steel was damaged when holes were drilled for the 3300 fasteners used to attach the Energex cable gantry to the web of the downstream structure.
