Further analysis of accident data from the cohort II study: when do drivers have their first accident and does it have an impact on subsequent driving?
This report describes further analyses of the accident data that was collected in the Cohort II study. It employed different procedures to those used in the main study, and approached the data from a different point of view. It did so by posing the questions 'when new drivers have their first accident and what are the factors that influence this' and 'what effects accidents have on the attitudes and self-reported behaviours of the drivers involved'.
