Bangalow southern bypass : decision report
In August 2008 the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) undertook preliminary investigations into the cost of a southern bypass of Bangalow and its associated benefits in order to determine its viability. The Bangalow southern bypass discussion paper (RTA 2009) was prepared to present to the community the outcome of these investigations. The discussion paper was released for community comment in June 2009. A decision on the need for and the justification of a southern bypass was made following consideration of the results of the investigations and feedback from the community. This decision report describes how this decision was made and highlights the recommendations to address community concerns identified in feedback on the discussion paper.
