Investigation of internal erosion and piping of soils in embankment dams by the slot erosion test and the hole erosion test - interpretative report

This report presents the findings of experimental investigation of the rate of piping erosion of soils concucted at the University of New South Wales. Two tests, the Slot Erosion Test and the Hole Erosion Test, hae been developed to study the erosion characteristics of a soil.
