RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM LINKS HOSPITALS AND EMERGENCY VEHICLES

A RADIO COMMUNICATIN SYSTEM HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN NEW ORLEANS TO CONNECT AMBULANCES AND HOSPITALS, HOSPITALS, AND HOSPITAL DISASTER HEADQUARTERS AND CIVIL DEFENSE MEDICAL SHELTERS IN THE CITY. THE AMBULANCES CAN ALSO COMMUNICATE WITH THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND WITH THE AMBULANCE DISPATCHING STATION. THE OPERATION OF THE NETWORK IS DESCRIBED.
