Dunmore Bridge heritage assessment
The RTA considers that the current traffic volume of the bridge has increased slightly from the volume of 1190 taken in 1994 and that the bridge is adequate to carry the projected traffic volume at present. The RTA intends to continue to maintain and repair the bridge so that it is capable of carrying legal loads. As there are no other proposals for an alternative crossing it is imperative that this bridge remain open.
