Assessment of Aboriginal heritage along the proposed realignment of the Mitchell Highway at Molong : final report
The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) propose to realign the Mitchell Highway a t a location about 4kg north of Molong. the proposed realignmentt is about 1.5km in length and crosses Molong Creek. Road construction at this location has the potential to impact Aboriginal cultural heritage. The RTA commissioned Environmental Resources Management Pty Ltd (ERM)) to undertake an archarological assessment of the proposed road realignment and provide management recommendations., A survey of the proposed realignment was undertaken by Andrew Collis of (ERM) and Chad Morgan of the Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council (OLALC) on the 13th of November 2003.
