HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

A detailed description is given of classification systems for the transport of hazardous materials. In addition to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, emphasis is laid on a new system called the National Academy of Sciences System, developed by the Advisory Committee on Hazardous Materials for the United States Coast Guard.
