EFFECT OF EXHAUST GAS TURBINE ARRANGEMENT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF 2-STROKE DIESEL ENGINES
In this paper, the authors describe, on the basis of the test results, a method which can be used for estimating the performance of an exhaust gas turbine under the engine operating condition. They discuss the effect of the exhaust gas turbine arrangement on the performance of 2-stroke Diesel engines equipped with a turbine of different arrangements by introducing exhaust gas turbine arrangement efficiency as a simple criterion for judging the advantage of the arrangement.
