OPERATING STRESSES ON S.S. MICHIGAN PROPELLER
The S.S. Michigan tests planned to comprise 50 points of stress measurement on the propeller and, additionally, to include propeller shaft thrust and torque recordings. Vibration measurements of the ship hull at various speeds and draft were included in the test program.
