PROCEEDINGS OF FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY-THEME-STANDARDIZATION OF AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS

THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY, SPONSORED BY THE NATIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY ADVISORY COUNCIL, WAS HELD IN SAN FRANCISCO JULY 17--19, 1972. TWENTY-TWO SPEAKERS AND SEVEN PANELISTS REPRESENTING SIX NATIONS WERE ON THE PROGRAM, WHICH WAS DIVIDED INTO FIVE SESSIONS: SYSTEM CONCEPTS, CANDIDATE AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS FOR DIAGNOSIS, DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUES, STANDARDIZATION OF AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS, AND FUTURE DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAMS. THE PROCEEDINGS INCLUDE THE 22 TECHNICAL PAPERS, INFORMATION ABOUT THE ADVISORY COUNCIL, AND PERTINENT LEGISLATION.
