THE ANNUAL REDUCTIONS IN DEATHS AND INJURIES AFTER FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION STANDARD OF OCTOBER 29, 1970, ARE ESTIMATED (5,720 AND 423,000 RESPECTIVELY).
