2011 Canadian Asphalt Mix Exchange Program (CAMEP) - 2011 Summary

Forty eight Canadian engineering organizations participated in the 2011 Canadian Asphalt Mix Exchange Program. The exchange provides an opportunity for participants to compare their test results to those of other laboratories. It provides a mechanism for review and refinement of existing test methods and equipment. The exchange evaluates the volumetric and mechanical properties of an asphalt-aggregate mixture using Marshall Mix Design procedures, the gyratory compactor, and the ignition oven. This report documents the test results for the year 2011 Canadian Asphalt Mix Exchange Program. // Quarante-huit firmes d'ingenierie ont participe au programme d'echange canadien 2011 sur les enrobes bitumineux. Le programme d'echange procure une occasion aux participants de comparer leurs resultats d'essais avec ceux des autres laboratoires. Il fournit un mecanisme de revision et de perfectionnement des procedures d'essais et de l'equipement existant. Le programme d'echange evalue les proprietes volumetriques et mecaniques d'un enrobe bitumineux avec les procedures de la methode Marshall de formulation, le compacteur giratoire et l'etuve d'ignition. Ce rapport documente les resultats du programme d'echange canadien 2011 sur les enrobes bitumineux.
