ACCIDENT ANALYSES AND THE REPORTING OF STATISTICAL DATA ON SELECTED ACCIDENTS ARE OUTLINED. THE PROCEDURE OF ESTIMATING EXISTING VARIABLES AND THE ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE ARE DISCUSSED IN DETAIL. THE MATHEMATICAL EXPECTATION AND VARIANCE OF A TRUNCATED, BINOMIALLY DISTRIBUTED, STOCHASTIC VARIABLE IS DEALT WITH. ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO THE EXTENT TO WHICH THE INFORMATION SOURCES, I.E.
