Gotcha - an open and modular wayside monitoring solution for optimising asset management and enhancing safety standards
This article looks at the Gotcha Monitoring System® (Gotcha), which is an open and modular wayside monitoring platform capable of measuring a wide range of data gathered in real time from passing trains. Using the information collected and analysing it enables rail infrastructure and rolling stock owners to achieve major savings in both unplanned and routine maintenance costs, making it a valuable tool in asset management. Other benefits detailed here are improved efficiency and overall safety standards.
