Study of Fault Propagation Model of the Hydraulic Conditions for City Gas Distribution Pipeline Network

With the increasing of the rate of gasification and the number of consumers, some of the city gas distribution pipeline networks' pipe diameter is too small and lack of gas capacity. Obviously, it leads to the gas shortage in the regions which are far away from the gas resources when the supply summit comes, and it becomes the “bottleneck” of the whole gas-line system. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the adaptability of the distribution pipeline network based on the gas requirements to find the “bottleneck” of the whole gas-line system. Based on the investigation of the change of pressure of the pipeline and the node, the thesis combines the calculation sub-model of the pipeline and the node with the gas-line diameter changing sub-model and the calculation sub-model of the network pressure. With reference to the analysis of the changeable pressure of the stable hydraulic calculations of several real pipes, it establishes the fault propagation model of the hydraulic conditions for city gas distribution pipeline networks. The model can effectively inspect the change of pressure resulting from the limited diameter, find the pipe which the pipe diameter is too small exactly and offer important of evidence to the reconstruction of the networks.
