Just the right balance
Engineers and historians could not let their concern for preservation deter them from also ensuring functionality and safety in rehabilitating the iconic Bridge of Lions, in St. Augustine, Florida - one of the nation's oldest cities. For this historically important community the reopening of the revitalized bridge marks a victory that was nearly 30 years in the making.
