NEW GIESSEN-FIGEE TWIN CRANES HAVE DUAL FUNCTIONS

The Giessen-Figee twin deck crane comprises two normal totally enclosed deck cranes mounted on a common revolving platform. Both cranes can be operated simultaneously for container handling purposes and independently for lighter cargo handling. For independent use, the common platform can be turned to the most efficient operating position for working in either one or two holds. For container handling, the slewing movements of the single crane are interlocked in the parallel position and in this position the common platform including the cranes can be slewed. As an optional extra the cranes can be provided with remote control from deck.
