SLURRY PUMPING

A variety of flow equations has been published for the design of pipelines for pumping mineral slurries. Results obtained by the use of these equations are compared with the actual results of pumping tests, with the object of checking the applicability and reliability of available design methods, and so of indicating areas where further research is needed.
