Performance-Based Requirements for Concrete: A Summary of ITG-8-R-10
This article will summarize the content of report Innovation Task Group (ITG)-8R-10 and provide examples of the topics covered in the report. The objectives of the report are to: (1) introduce performance specification and compare it with perscriptive specification; (2) discuss the essential features of performance specification; and (3) discuss how performance-based requirements can be used as an alternative to perscriptive requirements.
