Passenger Vehicle Scheduling during the Transformation of the Old Passenger Train Operation Plan into the New Plan
In order to meet market demand and the demand of railway development, railway transportation enterprise makes a wide variety of passenger train operation plans. Reasonable planning of passenger vehicle scheduling for ever-changing train operations is important in order to achieve the goal of railway operations that are safe, efficient and continuous. Background of the research is introduced, then changes between the old passenger train operation plan and the new are analyzed. Methods of planning passenger vehicle scheduling when using certain trains are proposed. In order to further optimize vehicle scheduling, mathematical models and optimization algorithms are established for vehicle scheduling with uncertain passenger trains.
