Modeling Operating Speed: Synthesis Report. Chapter 7: Conclusions and Recommendations
A review of existing operating speed profile models indicates that extensive work has been done by many researchers over decades resulting in a rich and varied body of knowledge. However, many limitations and deficiencies of the existing models were identified. This chapter presents a summary of existing models, and offers recommendations for future research.
