Application Research of Automated Overloading Monitoring System in Road Passenger Transportation
Overloading can lead to major road traffic accidents, and it is a difficult point in safety management of road passenger transportation. Dynamic and effective real-time monitoring is the key in preventing and avoiding passenger vehicles from overloading, and improving safety management. This article introduces the design and application result of automated monitoring system developed by Yunfa Corp., with a detailed explanation on the choice of the passenger counting system in road passenger transportation, the principle of the passenger counting system using surveillance camera, and the method of monitoring overload as well as application results.
