Natural Hazards in Hydrocarbon Transportation Lines
Due to the geographical location of Colombia, the country is exposed to an important number of hazards of a natural source - especially terrain instability - which affect the integrity the hydrocarbon transportation lines. To control them risk evaluations are performed, oriented to determine the monitoring and geotechnical maintenance actions that mitigate such risks. Evaluation processes and monitoring recommendations are described.
