SUMMARY OF PAPERS ON PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN IMPLEMENTING AND UTILIZING REPORTING SYSTEMS

THE REPORTING SYSTEMS MUST BE CHANGED CONTINUOUSLY TO MEET THE CURRENT DEMANDS SO THAT MEANINGFUL DECISIONS CAN BE MADE ON ANY LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT. ONE MAJOR PROBLEM IN ACCOMPLISHING THIS GOAL IS THE FAILURE OF MAINTENANCE PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND COMPUTER PEOPLE AND VICE VERSA. SIMPLIFIED REPORTING SYSTEMS ARE NEEDED TO INCORPORATE FISCAL AS WELL AS ACCOMPLISHMENT DATA.
