Contribution of ITS to self-explaining and forgiving road network

Prispeni inteligentnich dopravnich systemu k srozumitelne a promijejici silnicni siti

In case of specific traffic accidents caused by human factor failures, when using an ITS support, a successful prevention can be reached. ITS appear one of tools enabling creation of so-called forgiving and self-explaining roads. Implementation scenarios refer to autonomous intelligent systems in cars and cooperating systems C2C or C2I or I2C. In the article issues of guidelines in this area have been noticed, also including some of selected aspects. The findings presented in the close of the article result in recommendations.
