This issue contains the papers of the 19th International Symposium on Transportation and Traffic Theory. While automobile traffic is still the main focus of the conference, the scope of coverage has expanded over the years to include ideas and concepts on a wider range of transportation related issues. Topics include: freeway off-ramp congestion, bottlenecks, design of rail transit lines, route choice, information generation, kinematic wave theory, nonlinear pricing, traffic signal planning, parking and freeway traffic oscillations.
