HOLOGRAPHIC NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING (HNDT)

TIRES, SANDWICH STRUCTURES, DISK BRAKES AND NUMEROUS OTHER ARTICLES USED IN TRANSPORTATION CAN NOW BE TESTED NONDESTRUCTIVELY WITH IMPROVED SPEED, ACCURACY AND RELIABILITY. KEY TO THIS VERSATILE NEW METHOD IS HOLOGRAPHIC INTERFEROMETRY, WHICH USES COHERENT LIGHT TO RECORD AND RECONSTRUCT THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGES.
