LEGAL CONTROL IN CANADA OF POLLUTION IN THE GREAT LAKES DRAINAGE BASIN
Ontario Water Resources Commission Act contains legal controls for the maintenance or improvement of water quality in the Great Lakes Basin and the prohibition, control and regulation of waste inputs affecting such quality. Exclusive provincial legislative power under the BNA Act are broad enough to enable Ontario to legislate effectively for these purposes.
