MEASURING ESTUARINE POLLUTION

Factors which control local characteristics of the estuarine zone are discussed. The selection of variables to measure to show the effects of pollution in the coastal zone is considered. Instrumentation designed specifically to measure in the estuarine environment and to withstand the stresses of that environment are outlined.
