Implementation of road safety audit and inspection in the Czech Republic
The safety of road infrastructure can be improved significantly through procedures such as road safety audit and inspection. This article describes the process of implementing these tools in the Czech Republic. The article sums up the conclusions and recommendations resulting from the recent work of the team of safety experts established in the Transport Research Centre. It offers an opportunity to learn from the implementation process's described barriers.
