REPAIR AND STABILIZATION OF SEVERELY ERODED SANDSTONE
A SEVERELY ERODED SANDSTONE SLOPE WAS REPAIRED AND STABILIZED IN AN EFFORT TO CHECK THE CONTINUING RAPID DETERIORATION AND THE POSSIBILITY OF FALLING ROCK FROM THE RESULTING OVERHANG. THE AESTHETICS OF THE AREA HAVE IMPROVED CONSIDERABLY. THE REPAIRED AREA BLENDS IN WITH THE NATURAL FACE OF THE ROCK AND IS UNNOTICED BY MOST DRIVERS.
