HOT AIR MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLES. ANALYSIS OF THE BASIC DESIGN PARAMETERS OF HOT AIR EQUIPMENT FOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

A HOT AIR EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SYSTEM WAS DEVELOPED IN THE USSR AT THE CHELYABINSK TECHNICAL INSTITUTE. HOT AIR IS PUMPED THROUGH A SERIES OF STANDING BRANCHED PIPES DIRECTED AT THE RADIATORS OF ROWS OF PARKED LORRIES. IT FACILITATES PARKING IN THE OPEN AT TEMPERATURES DOWN TO 30 DEGREES BELOW ZERO CENTIGRADE. THE SYSTEM HAS ALREADY HAD WIDE, PRACTICAL USE IN THE URALS AND IN SIBERIA.
