NON-DESTRUCTIVE MEASUREMENT OF THE THICKNESS OF CONCRETE SURFACINGS /IN RUSSIAN/
AN ULTRASONIC METHOD OF MEASURING THE THICKNESS OF CONCRETE SURFACING IS DESCRIBED. SEVERAL SENSORS ARE USED INSTEAD OF ONE AS IS NORMAL IN STANDARD METHODS. THE ACCURACY OF THE MEASUREMENTS IS FAR GREATER REACHING APPROXIMATELY 3 PERCENT. A CONCRETE LAYER 10 TO 25 CM. THICK CAN BE MEASURED BY THIS TECHNIQUE. THE MATHEMATICAL ASPECTS OF THE METHOD ARE DISCUSSED AND THE 5-SENSOR EQUIPMENT USED IS DESCRIBED. /LCPC/RRL/
