THE CHANGES OF TEMPERATURE IN EPOXY SURFACINGS /IN SPANISH/

A THEORETICAL STUDY IS MADE ON THE TENSIONS WHICH ARE PRODUCED BETWEEN A LAYER OF EPOXY MORTAR AND A CONCRETE BASE, DUE TO VARIATION IN TEMPERATURE. THE OBJECT IS TO PROVE THAT LOOSENING OF THESE MORTARS DOES NOT OCCUR WHEN USING THEM IN GENERAL IN SURFACINGS, AND PARTICULARLY IN PAVEMENTS OF THIS TYPE. FIRST THE GENERAL CASE IS TAKEN IN WHICH THE THICKNESSES OF EPOXY MORTAR AND OF CONCRETE ARE NOT DEFINED, AND AFTERWARDS THE CURRENT CASE IN WHICH THE LAYER OF EPOXY MORTAR IS CONSIDERABLY THINNER THAN THAT OF THE CONCRETE OF THE BASE IS PARTICULARLY STUDIED.
