THE OBJECT OF THE RESEARCH IS TO DEVELOP A SUITABLE TESTING TECHNIQUE AND ASSOCIATED MEASURING PROCEDURE WHICH ALLOWS TESTS ON SMALL-SCALE MODELS OF ENGINEERING STRUCTURES TO BE CARRIED OUT AS RELIABLY AS NORMAL FULL-SCALE TESTS. AFTER A CRITICAL EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH ON DIFFERENT MODEL CONCRETES THE FOLLOWING INVESTIGATIONS ARE TO BE UNDERTAKEN: BEARING CAPACITY TESTS; DETERMINATION OF CUTTING FORCE REDISTRIBUTIONS IN CONDITION 2; CRACKING AND DEFORMATION DURING USE; STUDY OF PROBLEMS OF CREEP; SIMULATION OF PRESTRESSED STRUCTURES.
